About KV NTPC Badarpur

Kendriya Vidyalaya NTPC Badarpur was established in August 1981 It is one of the institutes run by KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan under the Ministry Of Human Resource Development. KV NTPC Badarpur is a project School financed by National Thermal Power Corporation. Its first priority is for childerns of Project Employee.
The vidyalaya envisages to provide uniterrupted education with common syllabi, curriculum and medium of instruction to the children of Central Govt. employees with transferable jobs which include employees of Defence service, Ministry of Education and employees of Special Protection Group
The students of the Vidyalaya, under the able guidance of highly qualified and talented teachers are being nutured with the care and positive approach to face the challenges of life.
Excellence in education and building of good character are the hall marks of the school. Although, in its infancy the school stands second to none in the field of descipline, cleanliness, academics, co-curricular activities and sports. Not only this the vidyalaya is working hard to reach its goal of perfection.

Important Milestone Of Growth

In 1989 ,school boasts of a beautiful building with sprawling campus fully functional for three section vidyalaya In 1987, the vidyalaya was upgraded to +2 level and the first batch of class XII Science Stream passed out in 1989. The humanities stream was introduced in 1993 and the commerce stream in 1995. Physical Education , Computer science is being offered as elective subjects. The vidyalaya is a co- educational institution. The medium of instruction is hindi and english.
